千葉では富津海岸や久津間海岸など、家族で潮干狩りができるスポットがたくさんあります。その中で、①入場料無料②トイレやコンビニが施設内に完備③公園もついてる潮干狩りスポット「千葉ポートタワー」があります。

わたしは子供と潮干狩りに行くのが大好きで、本日含めて過去３回行きました。そんなわけで、本日の「東京の小学生とおでかけ！」のテーマは千葉県・ポートタワーの潮干狩りです。

千葉ポートタワーとは、千葉県千葉市にある展望台やレストラン、おみやげ屋さんなどがある地上125mのタワーです。なんでも、千葉県民500万人突破記念で建てられたとか。外壁が鏡貼りのようになっているため、晴れた日には雲がポートタワーに映し出されます♡
このポートタワーの真うら、徒歩30秒程度の場所にこんな感じで砂浜と海が広がってます。車で来る方が多いようで、駐車場も無料です。駐車場は乗用車が245台分収容でき、朝９時から開錠しています。（でも、我が家は満車のため、旦那が周辺の他の駐車場に止めに行ってくれました、、。）電車の場合、最寄り駅は千葉都市モノレールの「千葉みなと駅」です。
Chiba Port Tower is a tower 125m above the ground with an observatory, restaurants, and souvenir shops in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. この海べは、沖縄などの海をウリにする観光地と比べるとクソかもしれませんが、わたしは家でずっとゲームしてるぐらいなら来た方が楽しいと思います。魚もぴょん♪とか跳ねてますし、ヤドカリは死ぬほどいます。ざざーっていう海の音も気持ちいいですし、子供には自然遊びが最高だと再認識しましたね。そして、母（私）のイライラもかなり収まりました。（なんか最近PTAでかなりいらいらしてました）

さて、アウトドア系のおでかけって家を出る出発時間が大事って言いますよね。わたしは元来非常にズボラな性格なのですが、潮干狩りは干潮（かんちょう）時刻を調べたほうがいいぞ、ということだけは知っています。干潮とは、海の潮が引いて海面が最も低くなっている状態のこと。この状態になると、砂浜が見える形となり、くまでで掘るとあさりちゃんが簡単に採れるのです♡

では、どうやって千葉ポートタワーの干潮時刻を調べればよいのかというと、気象庁が千葉港の干潮時刻をこちらのサイトで公開しています。
Google先生に尋ねたところ、「潮位が30～40cnくらいまでの時期がオススメじゃぞ！」とおっしゃってました。例えば上記の表を見ますと、5/4（水）の場合は12：46の前後２時間が海面が12cmになり、最も干潮している状態となります。

そのため、家を出てテントを張ったりする時間も考えると、午前９時～１０時には家を出たほうがよい（どこに住んでるかにもよりますが）状態、と言えるかもしれません。もちろん時期が違えば、もっと早く家を出たほうがよい場合もあります。ちなみに、我が家は私がのんびりやなので、９時過ぎに家を出発で現地に１１時過ぎに到着(軽く渋滞ありました）で、潮干狩りを楽しめたのは１時間半くらいです。午後はどんどん潮が満ちてきて、バケツが浮いてきました。

子連れで潮干狩りだと、いろいろ荷物が大変ですよね。事情がない限りは、車で行く、一択かと思います。乳児や幼児さんの場合は、おむつやミルクなどの準備も必要ですし。
When clamming with children, various luggage is difficult, isn’t it? Unless there are circumstances, I think it’s an option to go by car. For babies and toddlers, it is also necessary to prepare diapers and milk.

私の場合は、上記とアウトドア用のパラソルと椅子、ビニール袋、着替え、日焼け止め、飲み物、シャボン玉、虫取り網を持参しました。（多いな、、、；）他に、車の中の暇つぶし用のタブレットとかお菓子とかたくさんです。でも、千葉ポートタワーの中にゲーセンがありますし、コンビニもあるので、食べ物系はそんなにたくさん必要なかったようです。
