北区の清水坂公園を初めて知ったのは、今から１０年ほど前（2010年）で独身でした。その頃住んでいた場所から歩いてすぐの場所だったのですが、「普通の住宅街にある公園より、自然がたっぷりで広いなあ」と思いました。

I first learned about Shimizuzaka Park in Kita Ward about 10 years ago (2010) when I was single. It was just a short walk from where I lived at that time, but I thought, “It has more nature and wider than a park in an ordinary residential area.”

それから１０年たち、今は子供と一緒に遊ぶ場所になりました。清水坂公園ではあまりお年寄りをみかけません。子育て世代とその子供たちの利用が圧倒的な印象の清水坂公園。

Ten years later, it has become a place to play with children. I don’t see many elderly people in Shimizuzaka Park. Shimizuzaka Park has an overwhelming impression of the use of the child-rearing generation and their children.

清水坂公園はね、とても良い公園なんですが。地元民以外は少しアクセスが悪いかもしれません；

北区民の憩いの場！清水坂公園へのアクセス

清水坂公園は北区東十条と十条の間くらいに位置します。赤羽駅からはイトーヨーカドーの手前の道をひたすら１kmくらい歩けばあります。悲しいことに、調べましたが清水坂公園の目の前まで来てくれるバスはありません。

清水坂公園に駐車場はある？

Shimizuzaka Park is located between Higashijujo and Kitajo in Kita Ward, and is a park with high entertainment value.
From Akabane Station, you can walk about 1km on the road just before Ito-Yokado. There is no bus.

Is there a parking lot in Shimizuzaka Park?

近所の人はみんな電動自転車で来ています。結構遠くから来る人もいます。車で来る方も割といるようです。清水坂公園の敷地内には駐車場はありません。（まあ、職員の人が一台くらいおけるスペースがあるかないか、、）

All the neighbors come by electric bicycle. Some people come from quite a distance. It seems that some people come by car. There is no parking lot on the grounds of Shimizuzaka Park. (Well, is there a space for one staff member?)

そのため、清水坂公園周辺の有料パーキングを使うようです。一番近いのは清水坂公園の奥の十条寄りの方にあるパーキング（中十条4-6-1）です。周辺のコインパーキングはこちらから検索できます。

Therefore, it seems to use paid parking around Shimizuzaka Park. The closest is the parking lot (Nakajujo 4-6-1) near Jujo in the back of Shimizuzaka Park. You can search for nearby coin parking here.

清水坂公園と言えば滑り台＆じゃぶじゃぶ池！

Speaking of Shimizuzaka Park, slides and jabujabu ponds!

エンタテイメント性の高い公園です。（⇒その言い方じゃわかんないよ！）え～と、普通の公園にしては珍しいローラースライダー、テントを張れる芝生、夏にはじゃぶじゃぶ池、森の中をさまよう。そんなことができちゃいます。

It is a highly entertaining park. (⇒I don’t know how to say it!) Well, a roller slider, which is rare for a normal park, a lawn where you can set up a tent, a pond in the summer, and wandering in the woods. You can do that.

ローラースライダーが滑れる時間帯は決まっており、９：３０～１６：３０くらいまでの間のようです。近隣の騒音対策ですかね。じゃぶじゃぶ池は７～８月に朝から夕方まで水が循環しており、近所の人は食べ物飲み物をもって日陰を陣取ります。

The time zone when the roller slider can slide is fixed, and it seems to be between 9:30 and 16:30. Is it a noise countermeasure in the neighborhood? Water circulates in the Jabjabu Pond from morning to evening from July to August, and neighbors occupy the shade with food and drink.

２０２０年のじゃぶじゃぶ池は、7/11～9/22までやってました

コロナの影響でじゃぶじゃぶ池はどうなるか？！と思われていましたが、今年北区では多くの公園で水遊びができます。本当にうれしいです。北区の関係者のみなさま、ありがとうございます。

令和２年度（2020年）の水施設の運転予定は下表のとおりです。

運転時間は午前10時から午後4時までとなります。

清掃日以外にも、雨天時や電力がひっ迫した場合などは運転を休止します。

自然ふれあい情報館があります

園内には自然観察館もあり、中にはザリガニ、ミシシッピアカミミガメやメダカ、アオダイショウ、カエルなどがいて、手作りのおもちゃや図鑑、塗り絵が楽しめます。（※コロナで内容が少し変わっていました）随時インストラクターの方が虫や自然の観察ツアーを行っています。

There is also a nature observation hall in the park, where you can enjoy handmade toys, pictorial books, and coloring books, including crayfish, red-eared sliders, killifish, rat snakes, and frogs. (* The content has changed a little in the corona) Instructors are conducting insect and nature observation tours from time to time.

清水坂公園でテントを張ってる家族はとても多いです

There are many families who have tents in Shimizuzaka Park.

準備すれば半日は遊べる公園です。日差しを遮れないので、長時間いるつもりの方はテント持参がいいかもしれません。普通の公園でテントを張ってたら恥ずかしいですけど、ここでは全く違和感がありません。

清水坂公園でついオムツで泳がせてしまいました；

I was allowed to swim with a diaper at Shimizuzaka Park;

まだオムツをしている子供と一緒に来て、水遊び用パンツを忘れたら悲劇です。；みんなが楽しく水遊びしているのに、黙って観ている訳にはいきません。

It’s a tragedy if you come with a child who is still wearing diapers and forget about your swim diaper. Everyone is having fun playing in the water, but I can’t just watch it silently.

そこで、私は綺麗なオムツを履かせて少しだけじゃぶじゃぶ池で子供を泳がせました。本当に楽しそうに泳いでいましたが、オムツはどんどん重くなるので、しばらくしたら抱っこしてオムツを脱がせてタオルで巻きました；

So I put on a beautiful diaper and let my child swim in a little jerky pond. I was swimming really happily, but the diapers are getting heavier and heavier, so after a while I hugged them, took them off and wrapped them in a towel;

北区内幼稚園の遠足の場所にもなっています

どんぐりを拾ったり、川に入ったり、おいかけっこをしたり。トイレも２か所あるし自販機もあるので、子連れには最高の公園です。たまに区外から電動自転車で来ているママさんもいますよ♪

でも、子連れで来ると広いので子供がちょろちょろいろんな場所にいって、探すの大変です、、。５歳くらいまでは迷子にならなようにそばにずっといないといけませんね。
