ひびのこづえさんは日本を代表する現代アーティスト・日比野克彦さんの配偶者であり、自らも日本を代表する衣装家さんです。こづえさんも東京藝大出身で、旦那さんはいま東京藝大の教授。つまり、藝大夫婦♡Eテレでちょっと変わった衣装があれば、それは「ひびのこづえ」さんの衣装かも？！って思うくらい、Eテレでよくこづえさんの衣装をお見掛けします。

私は昔、法政大学を出たあとに東京モード学園ファッションデザイン学科二部に入り、ひびのこづえさんを知りました。その大胆な発想かつクール＆モード＆ポップな世界観は唯一無二。「森に棲む服」展 forest closetでは、こづえさんのこれまでの集大成である服がテーマの違う森の中に展示されているというコンセプトで登場します。見ごたえバツグンで、本当に充実の内容でした。（真剣に全部みると２時間は必要です）少しでも「見たいかも」と思った方は、ぜひもうすぐで終わりなので観に行かれた方が良いと思います！（横浜そごうでは2021年10月10日まで）

各線で横浜駅に着いたら、東口に向かいます。ルミネを通りすぎ、横浜そごうの入口が見えてきます。横浜駅に来ると、私はなぜか崎陽軒のシューマイをおみやげに買って帰ります。別に崎陽軒のシューマイは東京でも帰るのですが、なぜか買いたくなるｗ

森に棲む服 forest closet展の会期は約１カ月と、とても短いです。普通に働いている人はスケジュールをやりくりしないと、気づいたら終わっていることでしょう。で、会期が短いので結構混雑してるかな？と覚悟しましたが、そこまで人はいませんでした。男性がカップル含め3組くらい、あとは女性が５組くらいでしょうか。熱心にグッズも買ったりしているファンは年齢層の高い女性二人組でした。こんなにアバンギャルドなデザインなのに、若い人が観ないのは意外でした。（たまたまかな）

少し薄暗い会場に入ると、最初の森は「巨大な生き物」がテーマでした。にほんごであそぼ、の巨大な白鳥さんをしょって演奏する演奏者の方には度肝を抜かれましたが、その白鳥さんも天井からつるされています。一人で見に行ったので、心の中だけで（おお～！）の連発です；
When I entered the venue, which was a little dim, the theme of the first forest was “giant creatures”. I was amazed by the performer who played the giant swan in Nihongo de Asobo, but that swan is also hung from the ceiling. I went to see it alone, so it’s just in my heart (Oh!)
この生き物の森には赤×黒のサテンのような光沢のあるシャツに、テープで生き物が刺繍された作品がたくさん並んでいました。それらがすべて、とてつもなくオシャレ！買いたいよ～！着たいよ～！と、またまた心の中だけで叫んでいました。縫製もとてもきれいで、ショップですぐ売りに出せるレベルでした。

森に棲む服展は、実質、ひびのこづえさんの衣装人生の集大成ともいえる内容だと思いました。その素晴らしい作品の数々を見られるだけでも幸せなのですが、もっと良かったことは、ひびのこづえさんのコメントが展示会場にたくさん展示されていたことです。

私は勝手に、彼女のことを成功しているアーティストなので何となく「悩みがない」というイメージを持っていましたが、全然違う。衣装家として、人とのコミュニケーションが苦手なこと、そもそも人に関心がないのかも？という自己疑念から始まり、自分の苦手なことに立ち向かうこと、コロナ渦で中止が続く舞台を止めないための信念、など、さまざまな悩みや苦労があり人間らしいことがわかりました。
I had the image of “no worries” because I’m an artist who has succeeded in herself, but it’s completely different. As a costumer, I’m not good at communicating with people, maybe I’m not interested in people in the first place? I found out that I am human because of various worries and hardships, such as confronting my weak points and the belief that I will not stop the stage where the cancellation continues due to the corona whirlpool.

本当は、森に棲む服展はワークショップや衣装を着ることも企画されていたようです。でもコロナなので中止になっていました。（９月26日は）残念。こづえさんは「衣装は着て動くことでより美しさが増すと思うので、動画を急遽作成しました」とコメントされていました。私はスマホでQRコードを読み込み、その衣装をモデルさんが着て動いている動画を見ようと思ったのですが、QRコードにスマイルマークがついていて、読み込みできなかったんです！なぜスマイルマーク？受付の人に聞こうかと思いましたが、他にもたくさん見るものがあったので、「まいっか」と思いました。

Why smiley marks? I thought I’d ask the receptionist, but there were many other things I saw, so I thought “Maikka”.

コロナで舞台が中止。衣装の予算もない

衣装家は超・臨機応変でないとできない職業だと思います。急遽台本が変更になるとか、役者が変更になるとかは日常茶飯事ですよね。今回、こづえさんのコメントを熟読していた４４歳の私ですが（⇒周りの人、気持ち悪かったと思うよ、、！）衣装１着分の予算も出なかった、というコメントがたくさんあり、心が痛みました。コロナ渦でますますアートや音楽が端に寄せられて、「不要不急」と言われるのはおかしいです。
I think that a costumer is a profession that can only be done if it is super-flexible. It’s a daily occurrence that the script changes suddenly or the actors change. This time, I was 44 years old, who was reading Kozue’s comments carefully (⇒ I think the people around me felt uncomfortable …!), But there were many comments that I couldn’t afford the budget for one outfit. My heart hurts. It’s strange that the corona whirlpool is getting more and more art and music to the edge and is called “unnecessary and urgent.”
人間が生きられるのはアートと音楽があるから。動物との違いは、まさにアート。アートのちからを軽視しては、いつか痛い目みると思うのです。ってことで、私も積極的に気になる展覧会には顔を出して、お金を払う。そうすることしか、今はアート界を応援することができないなあ、、。
Humans can live because there is art and music. The difference from animals is just art. If you disregard the power of art, you will find it hurt someday. That’s why I also go out to the exhibitions that interest me and pay for them. Only then can I support the art world now.

会場の一番最後には、衣装の切れ端で作った１点もののバッグもたくさん展示されていました。それらがすべて購入できるのです。もし私が今独身だったら、迷わず３個くらいは買ったことでしょう。でも、今はすぐに（私が好きなもの買うくらいなら、子供に買ってあげたいな）的な抑制機能が備わったのです。マジで私がこんな風になるなんてビックリですけど。
I wonder if there are plenty of different fabrics in Hibino-sanchi.
At the very end of the venue, there were many one-of-a-kind bags made from pieces of costume. You can buy them all. If I were single now, I would have bought about three without hesitation. But now it’s got a suppressive feature right away (I’d rather buy it for my kids than I like). I’m really surprised that I’ll be like this.
Every handkerchief is cute. One is only 1,000 yen. I want to buy it in bulk.
終わりに
本当はこの展覧会を子供のはっちゃんと観ようとしていましたが、最近は小学生も忙しい。私と違い、電車に乗って人混みの中を歩くだけでもストレスなので諦めました。でも、あとでスマホのひびのさんの衣装の写真をはっちゃんに見せたら、「え～！はっちゃんも行きたかったあ」と言われました。なかなか子供とおでかけのタイミングは難しいです、、。子供に合わせすぎると自分がしょんぼりするし、大人の趣味に合わせすぎるのもいやだし。
