赤羽公園は図書館やスーパー西友（いまは閉店；）やメイン商店街「ララガーデン」にも近く、赤羽住民の生活圏の中心地にあります。テレビの撮影があったり、高齢者の方が日向ぼっこしていたり、子供が滑り台をしていたり。付近の人が気軽に毎日利用している公園です。

１年くらい前から、小学生が赤羽公園の脇の道路でブレイブボート（スケボーのクネクネ曲がるもの）に乗っているのをよく見かけました。そして、今はそれが低年齢化して幼稚園の年長さんでもオマセな子は早くも練習しています。いまのこは何でも早いですね～！
うちは安いエスボードを買いました！大人は乗りにくかったですが、子供には安いし乗れました♡とにかく安く！がいい方は、ぜひ♡

赤羽公園には木や植物がたくさん！虫取り網持参の男子もたまにいます。

幼稚園が一緒だった男の子が１回家に帰り、虫取り網を持参で赤羽公園に来て「お～す！」なんて出会うこともあります。男の子って本当に虫取りが好きですよね。虫好きと言えば、香川照之さん。Eテレ・香川照之の「昆虫すごいぜ！」は幼稚園でママさんたちも結構見ていた人多いと思います。

なんと！こんな珍しい楽器を演奏している男性がいらっしゃったのです。野次馬の私は迷わず「はっちゃん！来て！」と命令し、おじさんの周りに行きました。（私以外に２名ほどいました）

お話しをうかがうと、男性はプロのハンドパンの演奏家で、カフェなどで演奏もされている方でした。（faceboookをされています）
今日はこの楽器を教えるために赤羽公園に来ましたが、レッスンがキャンセルになったのでたまたま弾いている、とのことでした。非常にデリケートな楽器で、高価な品物です。元々は教師だった男性は、いまはアーティストとして演奏会なども行っているそうです。羨ましいです♡

とても良い公園である赤羽公園ですが、私は一度警察を呼んだことがあります。浮浪者らしき人がたまにいまして、でも、私はそういう人が何もしないのに差別はしません。
でも、一度幼稚園帰りにはっちゃんと幼稚園のお友達とここで遊んでいたら、浮浪者の方がはっちゃん目掛けて缶を投げたことがあります。怖すぎて、その時は固まってしまい「こっちに来な！」とはっちゃんをかばうことしかできなかった私。
二度目は、またまた同じ浮浪者の方が中学生か小学生に挑発されており、大声で怒鳴って向かっていくのが見えました。瓶か何かを投げそうだったので、これは危ない！と思った私は、すぐに警察に通報しました。あれは怖かったです、、！

赤羽公園は割と広いです。赤羽公園で待ち合わせするとき、「どっちの滑り台側？」と決めないと、なかなか会えないかもしれません。大きい石の滑り台の方は夕方、かなり小学生で混むので幼児さんは追いやられがちです。まだ歩きに慣れていないヨチヨチのこは、こちらのキリンの滑り台側の方が安全です。
Akabane Park is relatively large. When you meet at Akabane Park, you may not be able to meet unless you decide “Which slide side?” The large stone slide is crowded with elementary school students in the evening, so infants are apt to be driven away. If you are not familiar with walking, it is safer for this giraffe to be on the slide side.

赤羽公園には２匹くらい住んでいると思われる猫ちゃんがいます。みんな、その猫ちゃんのことを可愛がっています♪あまりに可愛く、一度ツナ缶をあげました。（あまり食べませんでした。翌日の朝、回収しました）
