子供が赤ちゃんの頃って、ママの活動範囲は自宅とその周辺が圧倒的に多いですよね。そして、子供が大きくなるにつれ、だんだん活動範囲は広がると思います。

「もうちょっと違うところに行きたい！」と思いました。おでかけ場所を開拓していたところ、児童館で出会ったママ友さんに教えていただいたのが埼玉県・戸田市の「戸田市児童センター・こどもの国」です♡

①メインの建物以外は４つのゾーンで構成されてます

戸田市のこどもの国は単なる児童館ではなくプール、ひろばに恐竜の遊具やアスレチック、室内の砂場とボルダリング、図書コーナー、多目的室とスタジオ、談話コーナーが設置された豪華な児童館です。（以前はプラネタリウムもありましたが閉館になりました。）
Children’s Country in Toda City is not just a children’s house, but a luxurious children’s house with a pool, dinosaur playground equipment and athletics in the open space, indoor sandbox and bouldering, a library corner, multipurpose room and studio, and a discourse corner.
(There used to be a planetarium, but it has been closed.)
場所はJR埼京線「戸田公園駅」から徒歩３分。敷地面積は広く、以下の画像の赤い丸の部分がメインの建物（児童館）です。
The location is a 3-minute walk from “Toda Koen Station” on the JR Saikyo Line. The site area is large, and the red circle in the image below is the main building (children’s house).
Since it was rebuilt in 2015, it feels new and clean overall ♡
屋外部分は①原っぱのゾーン②森のゾーン③丘のゾーン④水のゾーンと４つのゾーンに分かれています。
Outdoor part is divided into four zones: (1) open field zone, (2) forest zone, (3) hill zone, and (4) water zone.
①原っぱのゾーン・・・花・木とアスレチック・恐竜がある。思い切り走り回れるスペースです。
②森のゾーン・・・背の高い木がたくさん茂る森があります。
③丘のゾーン・・・芝滑りができる丘があります。
④水のゾーン・・・7/1～9/15の期間だけ利用できるプールがあります。

夏のプールと多目的室・スタジオを貸し切る時は料金はかかりますが、それ以外は基本的に無料です。ありがとう、戸田市さま！！

こどもの国は赤ちゃんでも安心して遊べる場所です。なんと屋内に砂場があるので、（足の洗い場もある）雨の日で公園に行けない日なんて重宝します★
Kodomo no Kuni is a place where even babies can play with peace of mind. There is a sandbox indoors, so it’s useful when you can’t go to the park on a rainy day (there’s also a foot wash area).

こどもの国は電車で１時間とかかけて行くところではないですが、電車で１０分とか家が近いとか（東京都北区や埼玉県川口市など近隣）であれば電車に乗ってもソンはない！

Kodomo no Kuni is not a place that takes an hour by train, but if it is 10 minutes by train or if the house is close (near Kita-ku, Tokyo or Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture), even if you take the train, you will satisfy!
半日以上遊べる場所だと思います。

コロナで児童館が閉鎖となりましたが、こどもの国は2020年６月２２日から館内を開放しています。
The children’s hall was closed in Corona, but Kodomo no Kuni has opened the hall since June 22, 2020.
特に、事前予約とかコロナに特化した注意事項はありません。予約なしで自由に遊びにいけるようになり、本当に良かったです。
